Afternoon tea review website ☕️🍰 by a programmer girl whose mornings start in the afternoon.

Afternoon tea sets are beautiful food and desserts we eat with our eyes before our mouths. I couldn’t help taking photos every time. After eating for a while, I realized my food photo collection was huge. Might as well compile them all. When friends saw, they started inviting me out for more. Became a full-on afternoon tea hunter.

Then my friends started forcing me to open a review page lol. Added more work for myself, don’t know why I did it. But ended up getting free tea invites sometimes. Made it even more fun.

I’ve wanted to make this website for ages, but as a web developer who always has client websites to build, mine always waits. And just thinking about migrating 100+ handwritten reviews from the page to the website made me want to go hang out instead. Never got around to it (there’s detailed data I wanted to separate into proper fields for search, not just paste text blocks. Otherwise Graph API could pull everything at once).

Until the AI era arrived. Just fixed the AI-generated bugs to make it complete (took several days though). Trained the data format a bit, and 141 posts from the Facebook page warped over easily. No more excuses.

ชุดน้ำชาเป็นขนมและอาหารสวยงามที่เราทานด้วยตาก่อนนำเข้าปากจริง รันจึงอดไม่ได้ที่จะถ่ายรูปเก็บไว้ตลอด พอกินไปเรื่อยๆสักพักก็รู้สึกว่า Collection รูปของกินเรามันเยอะมากนะ เอามารวบรวมไว้ดีกว่า พอเพื่อนๆเห็นก็เริ่มชวนกันไปกินเพิ่ม กลายเป็นนักล่าชุดน้ำชายามบ่ายเต็มตัว

จากนั้นก็เริ่มโดนไล่แกมบังคับให้เปิดเพจรีวิวซะ 5555 เป็นการเพิ่มงานให้ ทำทำไมไม่รู้ แต่ก็กลายเป็นว่าได้คำเชิญไปทานฟรีบ้างตามโอกาส รันยิ่งสนุกเข้าไปใหญ่

เว็บไซต์นี้ตั้งใจจะทำตั้งนานแล้ว แต่ตามประสาคนทำเว็บที่มักจะมีเว็บให้ทำ(ของลูกค้า) ก็เลยต้องทำก่อนอยู่เสมอ และแค่คิดว่าจะต้อง migrate รีวิวเขียนมือร้อยกว่าอันจากเพจมาใส่เว็บก็ขอไปเที่ยวเล่นดีกว่า เลยไม่ได้ทำสักที (มีข้อมูลย่อยที่จะทำทั้งที่ก็อยากแยกเก็บให้ครบทุกฟีลด์จะได้ค้นหาได้ ไม่ใช่แค่แปะ Text เฉยๆ อย่างนั้น Graph API ดึงมารวดเดียวจบ)

จนกระทั่งยุคสมัย AI รุ่งเรืองมาถึง แค่แก้บั๊กที่เไทำให้ครบ (ก็หลายวันอยู่นะ) เทรนรูปแบบข้อมูลสักหน่อย 141 posts from facebook page ก็จะวาร์ปมาได้ง่ายๆแล้ว จึงไม่มีข้ออ้างอีกต่อไป
